Yeah, yeah, yeah. Slow news day here at the slab. But, at 97, she was worthy of a mention.

Nan Martin

Actress Nan Martin, who starred for decades on stage, screen and television, died of complications from emphysema. She was 82.

Martin was perhaps best known for her recurring role on the ABC series 'The Drew Carey Show,' in which she played ornery boss Mrs. Louder for over 20 episodes. Her small-screen career dates back to the early days of television, with roles ranging from 'The Twilight Zone,' 'Perry Mason,' 'Valerie' and 'The Golden Girls' to, more recently, 'CSI,' 'Six Feet Under' and 'Nip/Tuck.'

February Tally

The shortest month of the year was certainly a busy one, wasn't it?! Slabber Carrie was the first of the bunch to score a hit, too!

Oh, and it was a bad month for the children of celebrities. The Slab would post a photo of Marie Osmond's son Michael, but there doesn't appear to be a photo of him anywhere. He threw himself off of his apartment building over the weekend.
